Exclusive Delia’s Gone Trailer for Crime Drama Starring Stephan James & Marisa Tomei

ComingSoon is excited to debut an exclusive trailer for Delia’s Gone, the upcoming indie crime drama by director Robert Budreau. The film will debut in theaters on August 19.

“Living with an intellectual disability, Louis is wrongfully accused of the murder of his sister Delia and sentenced to 5 years in prison,” reads the film’s synopsis. “Upon release, he is visited by one of the last men to see her alive who implies there is more to her killing than meets the eye. Armed with this new information, Louis embarks on a personal mission to find who is responsible for Delia’s mysterious death.”

The Penguin: Colin Farrell Says Matt Reeves Won’t Direct HBO Max Series

It has been over four months since the official confirmation of HBO Max’s The Penguin series, and now lead star Colin Farrell has finally opened up about the project’s current progress. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Farrell revealed that executive producer Matt Reeves is still working on writing the script, while also meticulously planning The Batman spin-off series’ overall story structure.

The Golden Globe winning actor also confirmed that Reeves won’t be taking on any directorial duties for The Penguin, but is instead heavily involved in the selection of who will be directing the upcoming DC series.

“Matt’s up to his bollocks, you know, hovering over the keyboard and just planning the story because he’s just so meticulous,” Farrell teased. “He’s so obsessive about what he does, but he’s all over [HBO Max’s] The Penguin [series] as well. I mean, he’s not gonna direct it but he’s all over the structure of the scripts and who’s gonna direct them. And so, it’s exciting,”

Set in the world of the 2022’s The Batman, the HBO Max series will focus on Oswald Cobblepot’s past and show his rise to power in Gotham’s seedy underbelly rather than portray him as the established kingpin. The character has a rich history of live-action appearances, as Danny DeVito famously played Penguin in Batman Returns and Robin Lord Taylor portrayed him in Gotham.

The limited drama will be based on the DC characters created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. It is being written by Lauren LeFrance, who is also set as the showrunner.

The upcoming The Penguin series will be executive produced by The Batman‘s Dylan Clark and Matt Reeves, Farrell, LeFranc, Daniel Pipski, Adam Kassanand, and Rafi Crohn. It is a joint project between 6th and Idaho, DC Entertainment, Dylan Clark Productions, and Warner Bros. Television.

The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Episode 3 Recap

Maou, Emi, and Alas Ramus arrive at the amusement park. Chiho, Ashiya, and Rika are watching over them from afar. While buying a hat for Alas Ramus, Emi asks Maou about his plans regarding the child. During the conversation, Maou also shares some thoughts regarding his army. Shortly after, they watch a live hero show. Maou is visibly amazed by the stunts, while Emi finds it weird that Maou is amused since he’s the Overlord. In the middle of the show, the crescent appears on Alas Ramus’ forehead. This prompts Emi and Maou to take her outside.

Maou leaves to get a refreshment. Meanwhile, a mysterious lady in white offers to help Alas Ramus. The crescent on Alas Ramus’ forehead disappears, and Emi heightens her defense. The mysterious lady tells Emi not to worry since she is not their enemy. She warns Emi that someone might find Alas Ramus using the Yesod fragments on her forehead. She also warns Emi about Gabriel and the Heavenly Guard Regiment, who are coming. Meanwhile, Urushihara and Suzuno are talking about the Gate at the apartment.

Emi, Maou, and Alas Ramus get on the Ferris wheel. Ashiya, Rika, and Chiho follow them. However, Chiho gets left behind after helping a grandma buy tickets. Meanwhile, Emi confronts Maou since she believes Maou is keeping information from her. Maou shares a story from his childhood, where an angel spared his life. The angel decided to save him since it was her first time seeing a demon cry. She also told him about the human world and left him a crescent-shaped seed. After Maou asked what happened to Alas Ramus, Emi mentioned Gabriel and the Yesod fragments. Maou reveals Alas Ramus is probably an incarnation of Yesod.

After that, the trio immediately rushes home, only to find Gabriel and his men. He asks for Alas Ramus and Emi’s holy sword, to which Maou refuses. Gabriel uses his powers on Maou until Chiho intervenes and begs. In the end, Gabriel says he’ll return tomorrow. In the apartment, Maou says they’ll fight back since Alas Ramus doesn’t want to go with Gabriel anyway. Maou also tells Emi to stay the night.

It’s been a while since Beavis and Butt-Head were on TV, but now they’re speeding to Paramount+.

On Thursday, Aug. 4, Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head will premiere its latest set of adventures on the streaming service. The series created in 1992 by Mike Judge for MTV is an animation classic.

“The iconic animated duo of Beavis and Butt-Head are back and dumber than ever! The ’90s pop-culture phenomenons return, voiced by creator Mike Judge, to confound common sense, torment each other, and showcase some of the dumbest comedy imaginable,” reads the logline.

Andor Trailer: Star Wars Series Delayed to September for 3-Episode Premiere

Disney+ has dropped a brand new Andor trailer for Lucasfilm’s forthcoming Star Wars: Rogue One prequel series, teasing the return of Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor. Originally scheduled for an August 31 debut, the next Star Wars series’ premiere date has now been pushed back nearly a month and will now be available for streaming on September 21 with the first three episodes.

The video, which you can check out below along with the new key art poster, highlights the beginning of the rebellion as Luna’s Andor gets enlisted by Stellan Skarsgård’s mysterious character to fight against the oppressive Empire. It also confirms the return of Forest Whitaker’s Saw Gerrera.

Disney+’s Andor features Diego Luna as he reprises his role of Cassian Andor. Set five years before the events of Rogue One, the series will follow the adventures of the titular hero rebel spy during the formative years of the Rebellion. It will explore tales of espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.

The new Star Wars prequel series will also star franchise alums Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Alan Tudyk as Cassian’s droid sidekick K-2SO, who reportedly won’t appear in the first season. Additional cast also includes Star Wars newcomers Denise Gough, Stellan Skarsgård, Kyle Soller, and Adria Arjona. It has also been rumored Ben Mendelsohn is reportedly reprising his role as Director Orson Callan Krennic.

Andor is executive produced by showrunner Tony Gilroy, who previously directed the reshoots for Rogue One. Gilroy was originally expected to direct three episodes but was forced to give up the position to Black Mirror‘s Toby Haynes due to pandemic-related travel issues.

The 2016 film was a critical and box-office hit with a gross of over $1 billion worldwide. It starred Luna, Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Riz Ahmed, Forest Whitaker, and Ben Mendelsohn.

Thor: Love and Thunder Concept Art Shows Warrior-Like Look at Gorr the God Butcher

More early concept art at Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher has made its way online, showcasing a much different, warrior-esque version of the character from Thor: Love and Thunder.

In a recent post to Instagram, artist Aleski Briclot shared an early look at the character. According to Briclot, the art was made shortly after Bale was cast in the role, and was meant to showcase a blend of the comic book version of Gorr with Bale’s likeness staying intact in the face. The result is a Gorr that looks a bit more menacing than he does in the film, complete with warrior armor, large veins along his arm, and big tendrils that flow behind his head.

Of course, the final result ended up looking much different, with director Taika Waititi opting to go for no prosthetic makeup or different looks for actor Christian Bale.

Thor: Love and Thunder features MCU alums Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who is now taking on the mantle of the Mighty Thor and will be wielding the iconic Mjolnir. Oscar winner Christian Bale will also be making his return to the superhero genre, as he signs on for the villainous role of Gorr the God Butcher.

Additional cast includes franchise alums such as Jaime Alexander as Sif, Taika Waititi as Korg, and Guardians of the Galaxy stars like Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill, Karen Gillan’s Nebula, Sean Gunn’s Kraglin, and Vin Diesel’s Groot.

Prime Video’s highly appreciated comedy series is back for another run.

On Friday, Aug. 5, The Outlaws will return for the streaming service subscribers. The show follows seven lawbreakers who bond together during a community service sentence. The series stars Rhianne Barreto as Rani, Gamba Cole as Ben, Stephen Merchant as Greg, Christopher Walken as Frank, Eleanor Tomlinson as Lady Gabby, Darren Boyd as John, Clare Perkins as Myrna, and Jessica Gunning as Diane.
