The CW has released the official preview for Supergirl Episode 2.05, titled “Crossfire,” which you can check out in the player below!

The episode is officially described as follows:

“Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) must beat a ruthless new gang who has been armed with dangerous new alien technology. When Cadmus sends a video to the DEO, the team realizes Cadmus is the one staffing the criminals for a secret mission. Meanwhile, Kara (Melissa Benoist) gets Mon-El (Chris Wood) a job as an intern at CatCo, James makes an important decision and Lena (Katie McGrath) invites Kara to attend one her fundraisers.”

Glen Winter directed the episode, written by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn. “Crossfire” airs on The CW November 7 at 8 PM.

Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist alongside Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater. Supergirl season two also features recurring roles for Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer, and Lynda Carter as the President of the United States.

FOX Orders Full Second Season of Lucifer

FOX has ordered a full second season of the DC Comics-inspired crime drama Lucifer, picking up an additional nine episodes, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. This brings the total order to 22 episodes for the 2016-17 season.

“‘Lucifer’ continues to deliver, with great blasts of dark humor and ambitious storytelling. The show has turned out to be a true wicked pleasure, the perfect companion to ‘Gotham,’ and we couldn’t be more pleased to order these nine additional episodes,” said Madden. “We’d like to thank Tom, Lauren and the entire cast, who have imbued these characters with charm, humor and a great deal of humanity. Our thanks also go out to the production crew – Jerry, Len, Jonathan, Joe and Ildy – who, week-in and week-out, deliver a stellar show. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the season.”

Season-to-date, Lucifer is averaging 8.0 million multi-platform viewers, posting a +105% jump vs. Live + Same Day.

Based upon the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo, from DC Entertainment, Lucifer is the story of the original fallen angel. Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with LAPD detective Chloe Decker to take down criminals.

Lucifer is produced by Warner Bros. Television, in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Aggressive Mediocrity. The series is based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo, from DC Entertainment. Tom Kapinos (Californication) wrote and executive-produced the pilot. The series is executive-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson. Len Wiseman serves as director and executive producer. Kapinos serves as executive consultant on the series.

Filming starts for The Good Fight, the new edition of The Good Wife

Production has commenced in New York City on The Good Fight, the new edition of The Good Wife that will be available on CBS All Access, the CBS Television Network’s subscription video on-demand and live streaming service. The series from Robert and Michelle King, starring Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo, Rose Leslie, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Paul Guilfoyle, Bernadette Peters and Erica Tazel, will premiere in February 2017 with a special broadcast on the CBS Television Network, then move exclusively to CBS All Access. Executive Producer Brooke Kennedy is directing the premiere episode.

The Good Fight picks up one year after the events of the final broadcast episode of The Good Wife. In the new series, an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia, while simultaneously wiping out her mentor Diane Lockhart’s savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, they join Lucca Quinn at one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms.

Robert and Michelle King, creators and executive producers of The Good Wife, return as showrunners and executive producers of the new series. Phil Alden Robinson co-wrote and will executive produce the premiere episode with the Kings. Ridley Scott, David Zucker, Liz Glotzer, Brooke Kennedy and Alison Cross also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Scott Free Productions and King Size Productions. The series will be distributed worldwide by CBS Studios International.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Michael Chiklis as Detective Nathaniel Barnes, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Cory Michael Smith as Edward nygma/the future Riddler, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, and Jamie Chung as Valerie Vale, the aunt of future Batman love interest Vicki Vale.

“Blood Rush” is set to air November 7 at 8 PM ET on FOX.

Following his departure from the Deadpool sequel, Tim Miller has signed on to executive produce the Sonic the Hedgehog movie at Sony Pictures. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller and his Blur Studio collaborator Jeff Fowler will develop the project, on which Fowler will make his feature directorial debut.

“Jeff is an incredible director with strong story instincts. The world of Sonic presents the perfect opportunity for him to leverage his experience in animation to bring new dimension to this iconic character,” said Miller.

A hybrid CG-animated/live-action feature, the movie will be written by Patrick Casey and Josh Miller and produced by Neal H. Moritz through his Original Film banner, along with Marza’ Animation Planet’s Takeshi Ito and Mie Onishi. Toby Ascher will also serve as an executive producer. Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons of DJ2 Entertainment will serve as co-producers.

The film will look to capture Sonic’’s irreverent tone and spirit, reuniting him with some of the most revered and infamous characters of the franchise, including the evil Dr. Eggman. Playful, mischievous, and quick on his feet in more ways than one, the world’’s fastest hedgehog is known for his ability to move at supersonic speed to protect his friends from their enemies. For more than two decades, Sonic has been one of the world’’s biggest gaming icons and a $1 billion franchise with more than 140 million games sold.

Sonic previously headlined several animated series, starting with 1993’s Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, and he also made an authorized cameo appearance in the Disney hit Wreck-It Ralph.

Walt Disney Pictures is developing a live-action Snow White movie, according to The Hollywood ReporterThe Girl on the Train screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson will write the script for the film.

The live-action Snow White movie will feature new original songs, with La La Land songwriters Benj Pasek & Justin Paul set to write the music. Marc Platt (the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns) is attached to produce.

The animated Disney classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opened in theaters in 1937 and features the voices of Adriana Caselotti (The Wizard of Oz) as Snow White, Roy Atwell (A Powder Romance) as Doc, Stuart Buchanan (Super-Speed) as the Huntsman, Lucille La Verne (Abraham Lincoln) as Queen/Witch, Moroni Olsen (Notorious) as Magic Mirror, Harry Stockwell (Here Comes the Band) as Prince, Eddie Collins (Drums Along the Mohawk) as Dopey, Pinto Colvig (Mickey and the Beanstalk) as Sleepy/Grumpy; Billy Gilbert (The Great Dictator) as Sneezy, Otis Harlan (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) as Happy and Scotty Mattraw (In Old Chicago) as Bashful.

Snow White joins a long list of live-action remakes by Disney of their classic animated films, including the previously-released Cinderella in 2015, this year’s The Jungle Book and Pete’s Dragon, plus next year’s Beauty and the Beast, and the upcoming The Lion KingMulanDumbo, The Little MermaidAladdin, and more.

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

The Power Rangers cast includes Dacre Montgomery (A Few Less Men) as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott (The 33) as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G (Empire) as Trini the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin (Monster Hunt) as Zack the Black Ranger, and Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect, The Hunger Games franchise) as Rita Repulsa. Producers are Power Rangers creator Haim Saban, Brian Casentini, Wyck Godfrey, and Marty Bowen (The Twilight Saga, The Fault in Our Stars, The Maze Runner franchise).

Power Rangers will be released in theaters on March 24, 2017.
