We’re kicking the week off with two exclusive clips. In the top player below, you can go behind the scenes of Vestron Video’s impressive new Wishmaster Collection (which includes all four entries in the horror franchise alongside a host of special features). Then, just beneath that, we’ve got a clip from the franchise sequel The Marine 5: Battleground. The film is available via Digital HD March 28 and will arrive on physical media in April.
There are a lot of recent big-screen releases coming home March 28, beginning with the Mike Mills comedy drama 20th Century Women. The week also brings to Blu-ray J.A. Bayona’s moving fantasy drama A Monster Calls, Martin Scorsese’s meditation on the nature faith, Silence, and the Harry Potter franchise prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. There are also Blu-ray releases for Park Chan-wook’s The Handmaiden, Peter Berg’s true Boston Marathon bombing story Patriots Day, and the 20th Century Fox comedy Why Him?, starring Bryan Cranston, James Franco and Zoey Deutch.
Other new March 28 releases include the John Cusack and Nicholas Cage team-up Arsenal and the all ages animated film Monster High: Electrified.
The Criterion Collection this week brings to Blu-ray Michelangelo Antonioni’s Blow-Up, while Warner Archive brings to HD the 1956 sci-fi Cinemascope spectacle World Without End.
March 28 also sees the release of small-screen titles like Archer season seven, the thirty-eighth volume of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (which includes the films Invasion USA, High School Big Shot, Colossus and the Headhunters and Track of the Moon Beast) and, also via Warner Archive, the first season of the DC Comics animated series Static Shock. All of those releases are hitting DVD only while the week also brings home Planet Earth II on both Blu-ray and 4K.
Other Digital HD releases coming home March 28 include director Theodore Melfi’s multiple Academy Award nominee Hidden Figures alongside another Oscar nominated true story, Lion. Rounding out the week is the Paramount Pictures family adventure Monster Trucks.
