Forever trailer: Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen star in the Prime series
Amazon Studios has released the first trailer from their upcoming romantic comedy series Forever, which stars Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, The Happytime Murders) and Fred Armisen (Final Space, Portlandia). Make sure you catch the Forever trailer below and let us know what you think!
Married couple June (Maya Rudolph) and Oscar (Fred Armisen) live a comfortable but predictable life in suburban Riverside, California. For 12 years they’ve had the same conversations, eaten the same meals and taken pleasant vacations at the same rented lake house. But after June talks Oscar into shaking things up with a ski trip, the pair suddenly find themselves in completely unfamiliar territory. Forever is an utterly original, insightful and poignant comedy about love, commitment, and marriage.
The series was created by Emmy Award-winning writers Alan Yang (Master of None, Parks and Recreation) and Matt Hubbard (30 Rock, Parks and Recreation). Dave Becky (Difficult People) also executive produces the series alongside Rudolph and Armisen.
The cast also includes Catherine Keener (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), Kym Whitley (Young & Hungry), and Noah Robbins (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt).
Forever will be available for streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime on September 14.
