Ted Lasso Season 3 Eyeing an Early 2022 Production Start

In a recent interview with Variety, Ted Lasso star Phil Dunster has confirmed that Apple TV+ and Warner Bros. Television are currently aiming to start production on the acclaimed sports comedy series’ third season early next year on January 31. When asked about upcoming storylines for Ted Lasso Season 3, the English actor revealed that as of the moment, he is also still in the dark with what Jason Sudeikis and the writers are planning for the new season.

“Honestly, I’m not trying to be coy, but I don’t know anything,” Dunster said. “I think they like to keep it fresh. But also Jason [Sudeikis] knows what the story arc is. He sprinkles ideas of what’s going to come here and there but there’s nothing really specific. They’re in the writer’s room now and we’ll see what happens.”
