Bad Moms, Nine Lives, Star Trek Beyond and lots more come home November 1

Welcome to ComingSoon.net’s look at all the top titles arriving this week on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. Check out the gallery viewer below for a look at the major new releases, catalogue films and television collections hitting shelves and/or VOD beginning Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

A number of recent big screen releases lead the November 1 charge, including the hit R-rated comedy Bad Moms and the science fiction adventure Star Trek Beyond. Accompanying the latter is 50 Years of Star Trek, a DVD-only collection of interviews celebrating the franchise’s half a century.

You can also catch Kevin Spacey as a cat in Nine Lives, Daniel Radcliffe as an undercover FBI agent masquerading as a white supremacist in Imperium, and follow Matthew McConaughey and Naomi Watts through the Japanese “Suicide Forest” in Gus van Sant’s Sea of Trees.

Other titles coming home November 1 include the World War II thriller Anthropoid, starring Cillian Murphy and Jamie Dornan, the offbeat comedy adventure Army of One, starring Nicolas Cage and Russell Brand, and the comedy drama My Blind Brother, starring Adam Scott, Nick Kroll, and Jenny Slate. Rounding off the list of recent big screen titles is the 2016 action thriller Carnage Park.

Hitting DVD only, meanwhile, is the moving sports documentary Gleason.

While Marvel introduces their latest superhero on the big screen this Friday, Shout! Factory offering up a treat for hardcore fans with the (rather terrible) 1978 Dr. Strange telefilm, released officially on DVD for the first time ever!

Broadway fans can look forward to the November 1 release of Gypsy, featuring a filmed version of the 2015 West End production starring Imelda Staunton.

There are a number of animated titles coming home November 1 with Batman: Return of the Caped Crusader, a much-anticipated title for DC Comics fans. The original animated feature features the return of Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin! Alternately, the week sees the release of My Little Pony Equestia Girls: The Legend of Everfree and, via Warner Archive, 1997 animated musical Cats Don’t Dance.

Warner Archive also brings to Blu-ray for the first time Michael Anderson’s 1975 Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze, featuring Ron Ely as the pulp hero.

Film noir fans should be happy this week as November 1 sees the release of (via Kino Lorber) the 1941 film noir classic I Wake Up Screaming as well as of the boxed set The Film Detective’s Film Noir Collection. The three-disc release includes 1947’s The Red House, 1948’s Hollow Triumph and 1952’s Kansas City Confidential.

When it comes to small screen titles, November 1 brings home the second season of STARZ‘s Outlander and the second half of the fifth season of AMC‘s Hell on Wheels. The former set also arrives in a Collector’s Edition, while the later is available as part of a Hell on Wheels Complete Series set as well. Speaking of elaborate sets, the week also brings home the deluxe collector’s edition of The Walking Dead season six, complete with a new walker statue.

Hitting DVD only November 1 is the first season of TNT‘s The Librarians, as well as a complete series set of the hit comedy series IT Crowd. Rounding out the week’s small screen titles is the latest in Shout! Factory‘s Power Rangers library. Look for the complete Power Rangers: Chouriki Sentai Ohranger to arrive in an eight-disc set.

Finding Dory headlines the Digital HD November 1 releases with the Blu-ray set to arrive later this month. Also available digitally this week is the music documentary Miss Sharon Jones, as well as season one of Cinemax‘s Outcast and the fourth season of HBO‘s Vice. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, meanwhile, announced its endorsement of The Sausage Party today! Sausage Party is available today as a digital download (and on retail shelves Election Day, November 8th) and the studio has launched a special campaign to educate voters on this unique, last-minute entry into the political season. Check out the videos here, here and here!
