New Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl midseason premiere promos
We had seen midseason premiere trailers for The Flash and Supergirl, Riverdale, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, but nothing for Arrow yet. That changes today as The CW has released the new Arrow midseason premiere promo, as well as a clip from the episode, titled “Who Are You?” and airing on January 25. Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn, with Paul Blackthorne as Detective Lance. The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter.
Episode 3.10 of The Flash is titled “Borrowing Problems From The Future” and is set to air Tuesday, January 24 on The CW. Grant Gustin stars as Barry Allen/The Flash in the series along with Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Season 2 of the series also introduced Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West and the Earth-3 version of The Flash as played by John Wesley Shipp (who also played Barry’s father, Henry Allen) who continue to guest star in the series. Season 3 also features Tom Felton as Julian Albert.
Episode 2.09 of Supergirl is titled “Supergirl Lives,” a nod to director Kevin Smith’s failed Superman film from the 1990s. Smith directs the episode, which is set to air Monday, January 23 on The CW. Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist alongside Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater. Supergirl season two also features recurring roles for Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Floriana Lima as Maggie Sawyer, and Lynda Carter as the President of the United States.
