Set in an alternate present-day version of Oakland, Sorry to Bother You follows telemarketer Cassius Green (Stanfield) who discovers a magical key to professional success, propelling him into a macabre universe.
The film stars starring Lakeith Stanfield (Get Out, Atlanta) and Tessa Thompson (Annihilation, Thor: Ragnarok), with Armie Hammer (The Social Network, Call Me By Your Name), Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Expendables), Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead, Mayhem), Omari Hardwick (Power, Kick-Ass), Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts), and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon).
Written and directed by acclaimed musician Boots Riley, his feature film debut is produced by Nina Yang Bongiovi, Forest Whitaker, Charles D. King and George Rush.
Sorry to Bother You will arrive in theaters on July 6.

This may be hard to digest for some moviegoers, but if one goes in with the perspective of what can and what does happen on a daily basis for many living in the United States, the film is not as far-fetched as it can appear. There are elements of cinematic brilliance in scenes of transformation as the character Cassius Green as he progresses through the movie
