Beverly Hills 90210 revival in the works
Deadline is reporting that the popular 90’s series Beverly Hills 90210 is looking to get another reboot. A number of original cast members, including Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestly, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris are hoping to return for the new series, which is actively being pitched to multiple broadcast and streaming networks.
Per the report, the project from CBS TV Studios is not a reboot in the traditional sense, and would instead feature the same characters albeit in “exaggerated versions of themselves.”

Writers/executive producers Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini, who worked on the CW’s 90210 reboot and on Spelling’s series So Notorious, are spearheading the project with Ghen Maynard, who has a relationship with Spelling and Garth.
Spelling reportedly hinted at a possible reboot back in March via an Instagram post with the cryptic #donnaandkellyforever.
The original Beverly Hills 90210 series was the brainchild of Darren Star and Aaron Spelling, and ran from 1990-2000. The show focused on a group of students attending Beverly Hills High School, and spawned multiple spinoffs including the wildly popular Melrose Place.
