The Joe Hill-based horror series starring Zachary Quinto (Star Trek Beyond) was originally set to premiere its second season on June 1 but now the network has chosen to delay it to a Sunday, June 21 premiere at 9 p.m. EST, with the full season set to simulcast on BBC America.

The first season of Shudder’s Creepshow revival was originally set to run over three weeks on its parent company’s network but now AMC has chosen to extend the run to six weeks, beginning with its Monday, May 4 premiere and running on consecutive Mondays through June 8.

NOS4A2s second season picks up eight years after the events of season one. Vic McQueen (Cummings) remains more determined than ever to destroy Charlie Manx (Quinto). Charlie, having faced his own mortality, emerges desperate for revenge against Vic. This time, he sets his sights on the person who means most to Vic – her eight-year-old son Wayne. The race for Wayne’s soul sends Vic and Charlie on a high-speed collision course, forcing both to confront the mistakes of their pasts in order to secure a hold on Wayne’s future.

The series centers on Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings), a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with Charlie Manx (Quinto), a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims – without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself. The series also stars Jahkara Smith, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Virginia Kull, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

In addition to Quinto and Cummings, the cast includes Jahkara Smith (Into the Dark, Olafur Darri Olafsson (The Meg), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Punisher), Virginia Kull (The Looming Tower), Jonathan Langdon (No Tomorrow) and Ashley Romans (Shameless).

Creepshow features an all-star cast, including David Arquette (Scream franchise), Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog), Tobin Bell (Saw), Big Boi (Scream: The TV Series), Jeffrey Combs (Star Trek, Re-Animator), Kid Cudi (Drunk Parents), Bruce Davison (X-Men), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Dana Gould (Stan Against Evil), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) and DJ Qualls (Supernatural), and features adaptations of stories by Stephen King, Joe Hill, Joe R. Lansdale, Josh Malerman and others. Nicotero’s Oscar, BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning make-up effects studio KNB EFX GROUP serves as creature creators.

Creepshow was a phenomenal success in its first season on Shudder. As we continue to experiment with show sharing across our portfolio of defining brands at AMC Networks, it felt like a no brainer to give fans of Greg Nicotero’s masterful zombie work on The Walking Dead Universe a chance to see this, his passion project,” Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks’ Entertainment Group and AMC Studios, said in a previous statement.  “Greg’s Creepshow is a brilliant homage to the original classic horror film and we couldn’t happier to air it on AMC, or more grateful to our colleagues at Shudder.”

NOS4A2, executive produced by showrunner Jami O’Brien (Hells on Wheels) and Hill, is set to return on Sunday, June 21 at 9 p.m. EST while Creepshow premieres on Monday, May 4 at 9 p.m. EST.
