Netflix has released the full Robin Robin trailer for Aardman Animation’s stop-motion animated holiday special, featuring the voices of Gillian Anderson, Richard E. Grant, and Bronte Carmichael. The special will be available for streaming on November 24.
The video, which you can check out below along with the key art poster, begins with the titular bird as she discovers about the magic of Christmas Tree Star which she believes grants all the humans’ wishes. It also highlights her wish of becoming a mouse just like the rest of her adopted family.

Robin Robin will feature the voices of Gillian Anderson (The Crown) as Cat, the villain of our story who just so happens to know a place where everything is welcome, her tummy; Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?) as Magpie, an obsessive collector of shiney ‘stuff; Adeel Aktar (The Big Sick) as Dad Mouse, a caring but cautious soul who is single-handedly raising a family of five children; and Bronte Carmichael (Christopher Robin) as Robin.
“When her egg fortuitously rolls into a rubbish dump, Robin is raised by a loving family of mice,” reads the synopsis. “As she grows up, her differences become more apparent. Robin sets off on the heist to end all heists to prove to her family that she can be a really good mouse – but ends up discovering who she really is.”

Robin Robin is directed by Dan Ojari and Mike Please. The short film hails from Aardman Animation, an acclaimed British animation studio who are best known for their works on Flushed Away, Chicken Run, and A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon.
