Rogue One: A Star Wars Story passes the $800 million mark

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story grossed $16 million domestically on Monday and $11 million internationally for a global day of $27 million. That means the Star Wars film has now earned $440.9 million in North America and $361 million overseas, for a worldwide sum of $801.9 million.

Rogue One currently stands as the #2 release of 2016 domestically (behind Finding Dory‘s $486.3 million) and the #7 release of 2016 globally.

The film will open in China on January 6. Here are the top-performing international territories so far:
