FOX has released a new clip from The Gifted, which premieres on Monday, October 2. You can watch The Gifted powers on display in the player below.

The Gifted has already been picked up for a first season and will air on FOX this fall with the pilot episode directed by four-time X-Men film director Bryan Singer. The Gifted stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Percy Hynes White, Sean Teale, Blair Redford, with Jamie Chung as the mutant Blink, and Natalie Alyn Lind as the mutant Polaris. Garret Dillahunt (The Mindy Project, Looper) was also recently cast as a mutant researcher named Roderick Campbell, who is contracted by the Sentinel Services for a dubious mission.

Produced by 20th Century Fox Television and Marvel Television, The Gifted will focus on two ordinary parents (Moyer and Acker) who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

Written by Matt Nix (APB, Burn Notice), directed by Bryan Singer (the X-Men franchise”) and executive produced by Nix, Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Wolverine), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Apocalypse, X-Men: Days of Future Past), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones) and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones).
