Snow Blind will be an hour-long drama about a teen who discovers that his family is in the Witness Protection Program. They’ve been hiding out in suburb in Alaska, but when the crime comes back to haunt them, he tries to discover the truth about why they’re staying out of sight.
Here’s the description of “Snow Blind” from Amazon: “What happens when you discover your parents aren’t the people you thought they were? For high school teen Teddy, life in a sleepy suburb in Alaska turns upside-down when he innocently posts a photo of his dad online, only to learn he and his family are in the Witness Protection Program. A man seeking revenge invades their town, followed soon after by pursuing FBI agents…but what if his dad’s reasons for going into the program aren’t as innocent as he says?”
Wilmott will executive produce with Boom! Studios’ Stephen Christy and Ross Richie. Boom! Studios and 20th Century Fox TV will co-produce. Comic writer Ollie Masters has worked on comics like “Extraordinary X-Men,” “Sons of Anarchy: Redwood” and DC/Vertigo’s “The Kitchen.” Illustrator Tyler Jenkins has worked on comics like “Peter Panzerfaust” and “Grass Kings.”
