Netflix Acquires Global Rights To British Teen Drama The A List
According to Deadline, Netflix has successfully acquired the global rights to the British supernatural teen drama titled The A List which centers on teenage issues such as friendship, romance, loyalty and betrayal.
“The A List is an intense and powerfully addictive drama for teen audiences everywhere. Dan and Nina have created a dark and compelling world brought to life by incredible performances from the show’s incredible young cast. We’re thrilled that Netflix is introducing this haunting psychodrama to a global audience.” executive producer Anne Brogan (Dustbin Baby) said.

Written by Dan Berlinka and Nina Metivier (Doctor Who), The A List follows the story of Mia, played by Lisa Ambalavanar (Doctors), who arrives at an idyllic summer camp expecting to be Queen Bee, but the ‘holiday of a lifetime’ turns into a twisted nightmare with the arrival of the mysterious Amber, played by Safe’s Ellie Duckles.
The series also stars Rosie Dwyer as Alex, Jacob Dudman as Dev, Cian Barry as Dave, Nneke Okeye as Mags, Michael Ward as Brendan, Jack Kane as Zac, Georgina Sadler as Petal, Benjamin Nugent as Harry, Eleanor Bennett as Jenna, Savannah Baker as Kayleigh, Indianna Ryan as Midge and Max Lohan as Luka.

The 13-episode series is produced by Lionsgate’s Kindle Entertainment.
