A Quiet Place Part II wraps production!
Writer/director John Krasinski has taken to Twitter to announce that the sequel to 2018’s post-apocalyptic horror-thriller A Quiet Place has officially wrapped production. Krasinski included photo of him and wife/star Emily Blunt on the eerie bridge from the first film.

Djimon Hounsou, whose upcoming credits include Charlie’s Angels, The King’s Man, and the TV series What If…?, recently joined the cast to replace Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta). Emily Blunt is returning for A Quiet Place 2 alongside cast members Noah Jupe (Suburbicon, Wonder) and Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck), with John Krasinski set to write and direct again. Golden Globe nominee Cillian Murphy (Breakfast on Pluto) and Brian Tyree Henry (Child’s Play) will also star in the sequel, which has a release date of March 20, 2020.
A Quiet Place opened in theaters in April of 2018 and grossed over $334 million worldwide on a $17 million dollar budget.

A Quiet Place is produced by Michael Bay (Transformers) and his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller (Ouija, The Purge, Texas Chainsaw Massacre), from a spec script by Bryan Woods & Scott Beck which was rewritten by Krasinski.
