Netflix and Shondaland reveal new anthology series Notes on Love
The partnership between Shonda Rhimes’ production banner Shondaland and Netflix is growing even larger as the two have announced another new series for the streaming service entitled Notes on Love.

Executive produced by Rhimes and described as an episodic anthology, the first season will explore stories in which love and marriage meet and will examine what marriage is, what it means and how it’s changing as our society changes.
The episodes, which will be written and directed by different creative minds, will also explore a range of genres as it “explores the unexpected, life-changing, euphoric, hilarious, surreal, and all-consuming places where love intersects with our lives.”
In addition to Rhimes, the list of talent behind the scenes is one filled with acclaimed voices including Jenny Han, best known as the author of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series, Norman Lear, acclaimed television producer behind shows including the reimagined One Day at a Time, The Office writer Aaron Shure, who will partner with Lear, Oscar-winning comedian Steve Martin (Planes, Trains and Automobiles), Oscar-nominated songwriter Diane Warren and married duo Lindy West (Shrill) and Ahamefule J. Oluo (Now I’m Fine).

The series as a whole will also be executive produced by key Shondaland partner Besty Beers with more writers set to be announced soon for the anthology.
