As expected, Disney’s sequel Frozen II had a huge debut at the box office with $127 million domestically, which was both an animated film record for November and the highest take for an animated movie outside of summer release. It was also the fifth highest November opening of all-time, beating out 2010’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. By comparison, the original 2013 Frozen took in $67.3 million in its US opening. Frozen II also took in a whopping $223.2 million internationally, for a worldwide debut of $350.2 million.
