Stamp has signed on to star as Giacomo Paradisi, the bearer of the Subtle Knife who lives in the Torre de Angeli in Cittàgazze, while Anouka will portray witch queen Ruta Skadi as she joins forces with Serafina Pekkala to fight against the Magisterium and Kirby will star as Dr. Mary Malone, the head of a Dark Matter Research Team at the Oxford University in our universe.
Adapting Philip Pullman’s award-winning trilogy of the same name, which is considered a modern masterpiece of imaginative fiction, HBO/BBC’s His Dark Materials concluded its debut season in December. Join executive producers Jane Tranter and Jack Thorne, as well as cast members Dafne Keen (Lyra), Ruth Wilson (Mrs. Coulter), Ariyon Bakare (Lord Boreal), Amir Wilson (Will Parry), Andrew Scott (John Parry), and Lin-Manuel Miranda (Lee Scoresby) in a virtual panel discussion about the hit drama series which will be moderated by award-winning journalist Stacey Wilson Hunt.

The first season of His Dark Materials follows Lyra (Dafne Keen), a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world. Lyra’s search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. As she journeys through the worlds, including our own, Lyra meets a determined and courageous boy called Will. Together they encounter extraordinary beings and dangerous secrets, with the fate of both the living — and the dead — in their hands.
Keen plays the main character Lyra with Lin Manuel-Miranda (Hamilton, Mary Poppins Returns) as Lee Scoresby, James McAvoy (Atonement) as Lyra’s uncle, Lord Asriel and Clarke Peters (The Wire) portraying The Master who trains Lyra. Ian Gelder (Queers) plays Librarian Scholar Charles, Ruth Wilson (The Affair) is the glamorous Mrs. Coulter, Will Keen (Wolf Hall) plays Father MacPhail, Ariyon Bakare (Life) is Lord Boreal, and Georgina Campbell (Black Mirror) portrays journalist Adele Starminster.
