Midnight Pulp October Lineup Brings Halloween to Your Living Room
Midnight Pulp, the popular streaming channel for fans of horror, thriller and action programming, has unveiled a month-long, full-throttle lineup of classic films and TV series intended to have viewers sleeping with the lights on until Halloween passes. Each week in October will celebrate a different theme – Asian Horror, Giallo Week, J-Horror, Slashers and Indie Week.

Midnight Pulp, part of the growing DMR OTT Channels group, is available at www.midnightpulp.com, and as an app on popular mobile and connected TV devices, streaming all things strange and on demand.
“With horror fans celebrating ‘Spooky Season’ all month long and sharing via the #31DaysOfHalloween hashtag, we’re thrilled to contribute Midnight Pulp’s strongest Halloween lineup yet,” says Midnight Pulp Channel Manager Matthew Kiernan. “We have a terrific mix of 30 horror films, from all-time classics to recent favs and indie discoveries, to help make this as happy a Halloween as possible, even if you can’t go out and celebrate.”
Asian Horror Week (week of October 2nd) will feature Audition from director Takashi Miike, considered one of the greatest horror films ever made, as well as Ringu, Ringu O, Ringu 2, Ringu Spiral (the hit Japanese series that kicked off the J-Horror boom and was later adapted in the U.S. as The Ring) and Office (an official selection at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival).
Giallo Week (week of October 9th) is led by Dario Argento’s masterpiece Deep Red, which was massively influential for both its terrifying set pieces and soundtrack by Goblin (which went on to become an enormous hit in Italy). Also featured this week are: Torso, Blood and Black Lace, Killer Nun, Strip Nude for Your Killer and The Bloodstained Butterfly.
J-Horror Week (week of October 16th) will include Evil of Dracula, Lake of Dracula, The Vampire Doll, One Missed Call, One Missed Call 2 and One Missed Call: Final.
Slashers Week (week of October 23rd) will feature Deadly Manor, Edge of the Axe, The Chill Factor, The Prey (1983), Halloween Night and Splatter University.
Indies Week (week of October 30th) will wrap up the month with The Hills Have Eyes (Wes Craven’s 1977 survival horror classic), The Hills Have Eyes Part 2, Blood Tide, Dream No Evil, Horror Express and Kolobos.

Midnight Pulp is also available as a linear channel, included in the lineups of free streaming services Samsung TV Plus, STIRR and Plex. Throughout October, the above titles and more will be part of the schedule, culminating on October 31st, with a day-long J-Halloween marathon of classic Japanese horror films and TV series, such as: Hideo Nakata’s Ringu series and Dark Water; the early 70s Dracula trilogy Evil Of Dracula, Lake Of Dracula and The Vampire Doll, as well as episodes of The Complex and Ghost Theater.
