Riverdale, Batwoman, Nancy Drew & More Vancouver Productions Shut Down
A number of Vancouver-based productions have been shut down due to delays in processing COVID-19 tests in British Columbia, including Riverdale, Batwoman, Nancy Drew, and Charmed, according to Variety.

Additionally, production on David E. Kelley’s ABC series Big Sky has also been put on hold. During a virtual press conference for the Television Critics Association, Kelley said: “There were some delays in test results, so out of caution we shut down yesterday and today. We expect to resume production either tomorrow or Friday.”
The outlet also confirmed that Disney’s The Mysterious Benedict Society, Hulu’s adaptation of the young adult novels, has also shut down production.
Warner Bros. Television is also delaying production on The CW’s The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl which were set to commence production this week. Netflix’s Maid, another Warner Bros. TV series, has also been shut down.

According to the outlet, there is a single lab company approved to oversee testing for COVID-19, and the company is currently prioritizing schools, which have opened in British Columbia, as well as local businesses.
