Following the first two episodes, viewers are wondering if Ahsoka‘s Sabine Wren is Force-sensitive in the Disney Plus series. Here’s what we know so far about Sabine’s Force potential and what’s next for the Apprentice.
Is Sabine Force-sensitive in the Ahsoka series?
Sabine appears to be Force-sensitive in the Ahsoka series.
During episodes 1 and 2 of the Ahsoka Disney Plus TV series, there are several hints of Sabine being Force-sensitive which eventually leads to Professor Huyang explaining that, though she has some ties to the Force, Sabine is incredibly weak. In fact, Sabine is the weakest Padawan that Huyang has ever come across, which is impressive when you consider that he’s been in operation for tens of thousands of years.
The sheer weakness of Sabine may explain why she has never shown any Force abilities up until this point and why other Jedi like Ezra couldn’t sense the Force within her.
When the meeting with Huyang ends, Ahsoka takes Sabine under her wing again, resuming her role of Master over the Apprentice.
How powerful are Sabine’s Force powers?
Sabine’s Force powers are incredibly weak, to the point where other Force-sensitive users have been unable to recognize them.
However, it’s possible that Sabine is growing in power. We see that Ahsoka is able to hear Sabine’s thoughts and also moves to wake Sabine from dark dreams.
While some Rebels fans may balk at Sabine being able to use the Force, as it was an interesting trait that helped her stand out in the show, others may be happy to see the character grow in power.
It will be interesting to see how she grows in the next few episodes, as she surely wants revenge after almost being killed in battle.
