Transatlantic premiered its first season on April 7, 2023, to generally positive reviews. Since the premiere of Transatlantic Season 1, fans have been curious whether the series has been renewed for a second season. Transatlantic is a drama series that explores the historic Emergency Rescue Committee that operated in Marseilles, Spain, and Portugal in the 1940s following the fall of France.

At the time of writing, Netflix has not renewed Transatlantic for a second season. However, fans can expect the next season to drop sometime in early-mid 2024.

The 2024 release date for Transatlantic Season 2 is because of the timeframe the first season dropped in and because of the pattern of release of Netflix shows, which releases a new season of a series one year after the previous season. However, there is also a great chance that Transatlantic will not be renewed for a second season, given how the eight episodes of the first season essentially served as a miniseries and told the whole story of the show.
