Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD: Nick Blood returns as Lance Hunter
Despite his emotional goodbye from the series in Season 3 (watch below), which was supposed to set up a spin-off series with Adrianne Palicki’s Mockingbird that failed to materialize, EW reports that Nick Blood will return to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD as his character Lance Hunter for the upcoming fifth season of the series. Palicki, meanwhile, is now co-starring in FOX’s The Orville with Seth MacFarlane.
Little is known about the upcoming fifth season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, and no official premiere date has been set either. The series will return to ABC after the conclusion of Marvel’s Inhumans‘ eight-episode run and the cast and crew for the series will appear at New York Comic Con to offer a first look.
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie and Jason O’Mara as Jeffrey Mace.
Guest stars in Season 4 of the series included Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider, Mallory Jansen as Aida, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Jordan Rivera as Hope Mackenzie, Patrick Cavanaugh as Burrows, Zach McGowan as The Superior, Joris Jarsky as Sergei, amd Zibby Allen as Lt. Evans.
