December 2017 free games for PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold
Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of December 2017 free games that will be available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold members.
PlayStation Plus members will receive the action RPG Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition (which includes all DLC, alongside updated graphics rendering and reworked game balancing) and the family-friendly fighting game Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends for PlayStation 4, with the point-and-click puzzle series Syberia Collection and the adventure game Xblaze Lost: Memories for PlayStation 3, the Metroid like Forma.8 for PS Vita and PlayStation 4, and the top-down action game Wanted Corp for PS VIta. PlayStation Plus members will also still be able to receive another bonus PlayStation VR game with Until Dawn: Rush of Blood available from through January 2 for PlayStation Plus members in the U.S., Canada, and most of Latin America. Get ready for the most disturbing roller coaster ride you’ll ever take in this trigger-happy arcade shooter.
Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download the first person fantasy game Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide for free during the month of December and Telltale’s Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition from December 16th to January 15th. On Xbox 360 (with Xbox One backwards compatibility), starting December 1st, the rhythm action game Child of Eden will be free through December 15th. Then on December 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download action adventure Marlow Briggs and the Mask of the Death for free through December 31st. You can subscribe to Xbox Live Gold via this link.
