Jarmusch, Peckinpah and the first ever Star Wars Story hit Blu-ray April 4
Welcome to ComingSoon.net’s look at all the top titles arriving this week on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. Check out the gallery viewer below for a look at the major new releases, catalogue films and television collections hitting shelves and/or VOD beginning Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
We’ve got two very different clips for you this week. April 4 sees the Digital HD release of the action thriller Sleepless. A remake of the 2011 French-Belgian film Sleepless Night, Sleepless stars Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan. You can take a behind-a-scenes look in the top player below. Then, just below that, we’ve got a look at the DVD-only release of We Don’t Belong Here, starring Get Out‘s Catherine Keener and, tragically, marking one of the final performances from the late Anton Yelchin.
One of the big titles hitting April 4 is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, replete with bonus features to satisfy Star Wars fans. If you’re looking for some Kylo Ren to tide you over until The Last Jedi in December, be sure to check out Adam Driver’s incredible performance in Paterson, the latest from writer and director Jim Jarmusch (Coffee and Cigarettes, Only Lovers Left Alive). Rounding out the week’s recent big screen releases is the Paramount Pictures comedy Office Christmas Party.
Titles hitting DVD only April 4 include The Bounce Back and Youth in Oregon.
Warner Archive has a treat for western fans as the MOD service brings to HD the early Sam Peckinpah entry Ride the High Country. Cinephiles, meanwhile, should also be on the lookout for Flicker Alley’s latest treasure, the 1919 war drama rarity Behind the Door.
Shout Factory’s Scream Factory label, meanwhile, delivers, the recent Ben Wheatley-produced thriller Tank 432.
On the small screen front, April 4 brings complete series DVD sets for both Medium (seven seasons and 130 episodes) and The Good Wife (seven seasons and 156 episodes).
Other Digital HD titles hitting April 4 include M. Night Shymalan’s clever thriller Split, the Michael Keaton-fronted biopic The Founder and the youth addiction documentary Generation Found.
You can check out cover art for all the April 4, 2017 releases in the gallery viewer below alongside a listing of each release’s special features (where applicable).
