Land, which Wright will also star in, and based on an original screenplay by Jesse Chatham and Liz Hannah, follows cosmopolitan lawyer Edee, who ventures off the grid and begins to train herself to survive in the wild. She learns “to hunt, fish and grow her own food as she faces brutal winters, a challenging landscape and local wildlife that could kill her at any moment.” Ultimately, she meets up with a First Nations local named Joseph, who forces her to confront her own personal demons.

Land will commence production this summer in British Columbia.
