After three years since Netflix had canceled all of its original Marvel TV shows, it has been revealed all four seasons of the fan-favorite series Daredevil will no longer be available for streaming next month. The Charlie Cox-led action drama is unexpectedly leaving Netflix along with the streamer’s other Marvel shows such as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders.
BREAKING: Removal notices are showing on all of the Marvel Netflix shows for March 1st.

This revelation comes after Cox recently made his long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Matt Murdock in a brief cameo on Spider-Man: No Way Home. Soon after, Vincent D’Onofrio was also able to reprise his iconic Daredevil role as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in Disney+’s Hawkeye series.

In 2018, Netflix decided to cancel its three Marvel shows including Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and fan-favorite Daredevil. After a year, the streamer had also discontinued Jessica Jones and The Punisher. The surprise cancellations mark the beginning of the end for Jeph Loeb’s Marvel Television, which was placed under the banner of Marvel Studios in 2019 following Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige’s promotion as Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer.
Last year, the live-action rights to the aforementioned Marvel characters have finally been reverted back to Marvel Studios, which allowed them to use Matt Murdock in No Way Home, and Kingpin in the Hawkeye series. It remains to be seen if other actors from the Netflix-Marvel shows would also be appearing in future MCU projects or not.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe started its Phase Four last year with four movies and five Disney+ shows including the acclaimed WandaVision series. This year, Marvel Studios is expected to debut three or four new live-action MCU series such as Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel.
