According to Deadline, singer-actress Selena Gomez is currently in the process of developing a Latina-led comedy series titled 15 Candles for Peacock, described as a “reconfiguration” of John Hughes’ classic teen comedy film Sixteen Candles. The former Disney star is developing the half-hour-long series along with Vida creator Tanya Saracho and Gabriela Revilla Lugo (Whiplash).
