Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham has officially decided to exit his series regular role in Apple TV+’s workplace comedy Mythic Quest. For two seasons, Abraham appeared as C.W. Longbottom, an experienced writer who leads the writing team of the series’ fictional video game studio.
“F. Murray Abraham will not be returning to Season 3 of Mythic Quest,” a representative from Lionsgate said in a statement (via Deadline). “Beyond that we do not comment on maters concerning personnel.”
Abraham’s exit comes after six months since the streamer has renewed Rob McElhenney-led hit comedy series for two more seasons. Abraham is currently lending his voice to the Marvel character of Khonshu in Disney+’s Moon Knight series. He will next be seen in the Netflix horror anthology series Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities.
