Few indie games are as highly anticipated as Hollow Knight: Silksong. Team Cherry has been secretive on this sequel for years since its announcement in 2019. Now the team has finally released more about the game, including a trailer and a batch of new platforms. It’ll be on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass on day one. No date was given, but it should be out in the next 12 months.

Some had been thinking that more Hollow Knight: Silksong information was imminent. Team Cherry’s Matthew Griffin posted a few tweets that some thought were teases of an incoming reveal, one of which was directed at Summer Game Fest’s Geoff Keighley and the other was replying to Xbox’s official Twitter account. However, it’s not clear if these were direct teases or unrelated.
