HBO has dropped a brand new Euphoria Season 2 poster for the long-awaited return of the acclaimed coming-of-age drama series, starring Zendaya as she reprises her Emmy-winning role as Rue. The second season will be arriving on Sunday, January 9 on HBO, and will also be streaming on HBO Max.
The poster, which you can check out below, spotlights Rue, who was last seen by fans during the series’ two special episodes which centered around the aftermath of Rue’s relapse in the first season finale.

Based on an Israeli series of the same name, Euphoria follows a group of high school students as they struggle to move through the worlds of drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love, and friendship.
It features an ensemble cast that includes Zendaya in the lead role of Rue. Also starring in the series are Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Barbie Ferreira, Storm Reid, Sydney Sweeney (Sharp Objects), Algee Smith, Jacob Elordi, Austin Abrams, Eric Dane, and Nika King. Joining the new season are Javon Walton and Dominic Fike.

Euphoria is created and written by Sam Levinson, who is also executive producing with Zendaya, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, and original creators Ron Leshem & Daphna Levin.
Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Mirit, Toovi, Yoram Mokadi, and Gary Lennon are executive producing, with Kenneth Yu, Ashley Levinson, Harrison Kreiss, and Julio Perez serving as co-producers.
