The six-part sports documentary series Joe Montana: Cool Under Pressure is set to premiere on January 6, 2022 on Peacock.

The series is set to chronicle the legendary career of NFL quarterback Joe Montana, often heralded as one of the greatest to ever play football. Cool Under Pressure will feature behind-the-scenes stories of his career, including the doubt that he received from coaches, issues he had with various teammates, and Montana overcoming his own self-doubt en route to winning five Super Bowls.

Alongside interviews with Montana himself, Cool Under Pressure will also feature exclusive footage from his career, as well as interviews with a ton of sports personalities. So far, Tom Brady, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, George Seifert, Ed Debartolo, Peyton Manning, Magic Johnson, and Ken Griffey Jr. have all been confirmed to appear in the series.

The first two episodes of the series will release on January 6, with the remaining four episodes dropping weekly after that. Cool Under Pressure is the latest in sports docuseries on legendary athletes, including the incredibly popular Michael Jordan documentary The Last Dance, as well as the currently ongoing Tom Brady documentary series Man in the Arena.
