ComingSoon is excited to debut the Until the Wheels Come Off trailer for the upcoming documentary on 50-year-old cyclist John Tarlton. Gravitas Ventures is releasing the documentary on VOD on April 5
The film focuses on Tarlton, who enters his second Race Across America race. The grueling bike race sees more than half of the participants not finishing, but Tarlton is determined to win his division. “To raise funds for cancer research, cyclist John Tarlton enters one of the most grueling ultra-endurance events in the world: Race Across America (RAAM),” says the synopsis. “Riders travel almost non-stop from coast to coast—through searing desert and over mountain ranges—in a brutally taxing challenge, 30% longer than the Tour de France and accomplished in half the time. With his family and friends serving as support crew, together they embark on a 12-day odyssey that puts all of their limits to the test.”
Directed by Even Stevens creator Matt Dearborn and Rick Weis (The Office, Entourage), the film runs 1 hour and 38 minutes.
