Capcom is pleasing fans of its classic games with two retro releases expanding past their previous home on the Nintendo Switch. Both Capcom Arcade Collection and Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection are headed to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Retro enthusiasts will also be able to play these games on current-gen systems like Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 thanks to backward compatibility.
In addition to a release on new platforms, Capcom has announced a new batch of arcade classics for release within Capcom Arcade Stadium. The game already offers 32 cabinets worth of quarter-munching goodness, and Capcom promises that more games are on the way.

In the now, the publisher is offering two paid DLC options to further enhance their arcade experience. Players can pay $1 to unlock an invincibility cheat to get them through even the toughest of challenges. They can pay the same price to grab new customization options for their digital collection. Both DLC offerings are available now, with the customization options included as a free bonus for those who pre-order the game on new platforms.
As for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, the $30 reboot of Capcom’s infamously difficult medieval platformer finds a new home on Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam. This new version of the game sports the same crazy difficulty as its NES predecessor, but it also has a few options for those who want to experience the game without throwing their controller across the room. The Page difficulty setting gives players unlimited respawns, and the optional co-op mode lets friends join in the adventure as alternate characters with stat-boosting abilities.

Both of Capcom’s retro-minded titles will be available across modern gaming platforms (sorry, Google Stadia) on June 1. The Invincibility cheat DLC and extra customization options are available now on Switch and will launch alongside the game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam.
