YA Drama #FBF casts Ashley Judd in leading role
Variety exclusively reports, #FBF, Ashley Judd (The Divergent Series: Insurgent) will star as the head of a family whose smart devices get switched with their daughter’s. Cree Cicchino co-stars as Anne, who accidentally takes her mother’s laptop instead of hers when she visits her dad in New Jersey. The teen realizes that with her mom’s laptop, she can fix their lives by posing as her to save her parent’s marriage. A Cinderella Story director Ilyssa Goodman helms the film with a screenplay co-written by Ashley Peter (Morning Show).

It’s reported that the film will be shot and filmed following restrictions in the style of Searching and Host. Actors will record their scenes on location in Nashville, Los Angeles, Anaheim, and New York from their homes.
Additionally, the film will star Kylee Russell (Z-O-M-B-I-E-S), Emily Skinner (Andi Mack), Ciara Riley Wilson (Kim Possible), David Barerra (Generation Kill) and Maria Canals-Barerra (Wizards of Waverly Place).
Timur Bekmambetov, Adam Sidman, and Vicky Petela at Bazelevs serve as producers. The film is executive produced by Maria Zatulovskaya at Bazelevs with Neil Elman, Hannah Pillemer, Tony Vassiliadis and Fernando Szew at MarVista Entertainment. As well as Peter Bevan, Tomás Yankelevich and Mariana Sanjurjo at Particular Crowd.

The YA picture #FBF is part of a multi-picture deal between MarVista and Particular Crowd. Worldwide distribution will be handled by MarVista alongside Endeavor Content outside of LATAM, where it will air on WarnerMedia platforms.
Judd is represented by WME, Anonymous Content and Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown and Passman. Cicchino is repped by Circle of Confusion, A3 Artists Agency and Chad Christopher as Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson and Christopher.
