Venom: Let There Be Carnage Clip Teases Cletus Kasady’s Transformation

With only less than a week left before the highly-anticipated debut of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Sony Pictures has revealed a brand new clip for the upcoming Marvel sequel.

The Venom: Let There Be Carnage clip features Woody Harrelson’s villainous Cletus Kasady, who is about to die in front of the families of his past victims. However, his execution goes completely sideways when a symbiote attaches itself to him, leading him to unleash Carnage free.

In addition to the clip, a new behind-the-scenes featurette has also been released, featuring actor-director Andy Serkis as he talks about the unique friendship between Eddie and Venom, who both had enough of each other due to their different intentions.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will feature the return of Tom Hardy as the fan-favorite anti-hero Venom, one of Marvel’s most complex characters. It is directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel, based on a story by Hardy and Marcel.

The sequel will also feature the returning cast members are Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Peggy Lu. It will also introduce Woody Harrelson as the maniacal serial killer Cletus Kasady/Carnage,  Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison/Shriek, and Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is based on the Marvel character created by Randy Schueller, Roger Stern, Tom DeFalco, Mike Zeck, and Ron Frenz. The sequel is being produced by Hardy, Marcel, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker.

The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters this Friday, October 1.
