Man vs. Bee is executive produced by Davies and Chris Clark, with David Kerr serving as the director. The series will feature nine episodes which are expected to run between 10 and 20 minutes long.
Atkinson is best known for his iconic role as Mr. Bean, a character he portrayed in the popular British sitcom of the same name, which only ran for 15 episodes. However, it was revived as an animated series in 2002, where Atkinson returned to voice and executive produce the five-season animated sitcom.
