Guy Ritchie’s Wrath of Man gets pushed back to May
On the heels of Marvel Studios electing to move Black Widow from that weekend to July, MGM has decided to shift the release for the latest Guy Ritchie action pic Wrath of Man reuniting the filmmaker with Jason Statham back to May 7, according to Deadline. Based on the 2004 French film titled Le Convoyeur or Cash Truck, the film will center on the cold and mysterious H who works at a cash truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angels each week. As it shifts across timelines and between various characters’ perspectives, the filmmaker is striving to weave a suspenseful and carefully-constructed narrative.
