ComingSoon.net is excited to debut the Hero Mode trailer, which is a family comedy based around game development. It sees a struggling indie game studio turn its luck around after the owner puts her teenage son, who happens to be a coding prodigy, in charge of development. However, the existing employees, including one played by Sean Astin, aren’t pleased about this change.

Blue Fox Entertainment is releasing Hero Mode in theaters on June 4, 2021. It’s directed by A.J. Tesler, who is also a producer on the film. Other producers include Marcy Carpenter and E.J. Kavounas, while Jeff Carpenter serves as executive producer.

The film stars Chris Carpenter, Mira Sorvino, Sean Astin, Indiana Massara, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kimia Behpoornia, Phillip Solomon, Monte Markham, Creed Bratton, Jim O’Heir, Nelson Franklin, Al Madrigal, and Bobby Lee.
