IMAX is reporting that Cliff Walkers and Home Sweet Home brought in $3.3 million in IMAX box office this weekend out of $5.1 million globally. Impressively, director Yimou Zhang’s thriller Cliff Walkers won the weekend with $2.3 million while the mystery drama Home Sweet Home brought in a million dollars of its own.
In North America, Demon Slayer continued its impressive success by bringing in an additional $500,000. The anime film now sits at $29.2 million total from IMAX screens. $25 million of that total comes from Japan, which shows what a behemoth it is. Demon Slayer‘s opening weekend in North America saw it bring in $710,000, so the film didn’t drop much.
Next weekend will see Guy Ritchie’s action flick Wrath of Man launch in IMAX domestically and in select international markets.
