The Flash Set Photos Show Batman 1989’s Wayne Manor

The Flash Set

DC’s The Flash film has officially begun filming, and thanks to new photos snapped of The Flash set, it seems as if one of the most famous locations in all of DC Comics will be making an appearance in the 2022 release.

Fans in England spotted Warner Bros. production trucks outside of Burghley House in Peterborough, England, with the location almost certainly set to represent Wayne Manor, the home of Bruce Wayne. The same estate was used for Wayne Manor in 1989’s Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns, which starred Micheal Keaton as the caped crusader.

This comes after the confirmed news that Keaton is set to reprise his role of Batman in The Flash. Warner Bros. and DC are currently keeping things extremely secretive, but if production is filming Wayne Manor, it seems as if we’ll at least be taking a trip back inside Keaton’s home during it.

The Flash, which saw its most recent draft scripted by Birds of Prey’s Christina Hodson, will adapt the iconic “Flashpoint” storyline from the comics and see the Scarlet Speedster (played by Ezra Miller) travel back in time in an effort to prevent his mother’s murder, only to inadvertently splinter the future into a new timeline with Keaton’s 30-years-older Batman protecting it.

The Flash is being directed by IT‘s Andy Muschietti and is executive produced by Marianne Jenkins with Michael Disco and Barbara Muschietti set as producers, with a current planned release date for November 4, 2022.
