Following the critical and commercial success of Jackass Forever, Paramount Pictures is currently planning to revive the iconic MTV reality series as a Paramount+ original comedy series.
During the company’s recent earnings call, Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish revealed the Jackass revival series’ development, confirming the involvement of the original creators. “Based off the success of Jackass Forever, we’re working with the creators to continue the partnership with a new series,” Bakish announced. “Bringing even more ridiculous antics straight to Paramount+.”

Jackass Forever starred franchise vets Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, Preston Lacy, and introduced newcomers Jasper Dolphin, Rachel Wolfson, Sean “Poopies” McInerney, Zach Holmes, and Eric Manaka.
“Celebrate the joy of a perfectly executed shot to the groin as Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the gang return for another round of hilarious, wildly absurd, and often dangerous displays of stunts and comedy,” reads the official synopsis.

Jackass Forever is the sixth installment of the film franchise which was based on the 2000 reality comedy series. This latest film has earned a worldwide gross of $80 million at the box office.
It is a production by Paramount Pictures and MTV Entertainment Studios Present A Dickhouse Production. The film is produced by Tremaine, Spike Jonze, and Knoxville, with Shanna Newton and Greg Iguchi executive producing.
