Netflix dropped some new details about the Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight cast. Joining the returning Jack Black as Po is Rita Ora in her first major voice acting debut and series vet James Hong among others.
Rita Ora’s Wandering Blade is described as “a tough English bear knight that joins Po on his globe-trotting adventure.” Meanwhile, Hong will once again play Mr. Ping, “Po’s adoptive, over-protective father is always filled with pride for his boy.” Additional cast includes Chris Geere as Klaus Dumont, Della Saba as Veruca Dumont, Rahnuma Panthaky as Rukhmini, Ed Weeks as Colin, and Amy Hill as Pei Pei.
Netflix also released new photos showing off the new additions to the Kung Fu Panda franchise:

Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight is executive produced by Peter Hastings, Shaunt Nigoghossian, Chris Amick, and Ben Mekler.
“When a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade,” reads the synopsis. “Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction – and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.”

The Kung Fu Panda franchise began in 2008 with the first film getting nominated for an Oscar Award for Best Animated Feature. It featured the voices of Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Dustin Hoffman, James Hong, and Seth Rogen.
