Amazon Studios developing a Jonas Brothers documentary
According to Variety, Amazon Studios is currently in the process of developing a new documentary centering around former Disney stars and popular boy band the Jonas Brothers. It will be bringing fans an up close and personal look into the lives of Kevin Nick and Joe after almost six years of their group hiatus.
“Our fans are the best in the world and have shared in our journey as the Jonas Brothers and us as individuals,” the Jonas Brothers said in a statement. “In releasing this documentary we wanted to make sure we partnered with an innovative platform, like Amazon, that could reach our fans around the world.”
The Jonas Brothers was formed in 2005. They first gained worldwide recognition through their self-titled second album which landed the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart on it first week. They are best known for their hit songs such as: S.O.S, Hold On, When You Look Me in the Eyes, Burnin’ Up, Lovebug, Paranoid and Fly With Me.

The band had also starred in their own Disney Channel original movies Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam starring alongside Demi Lovato. They’ve also got their own Disney Channel series Jonas L.A which only ran on air for two seasons.
In 2013, they decided to part ways as group in order to focus on their respective individual careers. However, earlier this they announced their most-awaited reunion by releasing a new single titled Sucker. The song’s music video featured the members’ respective partners, including actresses Priyanka Chopra-Jonas (Isn’t it Romantic?) and Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones).

In collaboration with Philymack and Federal Films (a division of Republic Records), the upcoming documentary will be premiering exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
