BritBox Unveils What’s Coming to the Streamer in June 2020

BritBox, the subscription streaming service from BBC Studios and ITV offering the biggest collection of streaming British television in North America, has unveiled its June slate! Next month’s titles include Sticks & Stones a chilling new three-part drama from Mike Bartlett (Doctor Foster, Press) and Isolation Stories, a first of its kind four-episode limited-run drama produced during ‘social distancing’ from Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated writer and producer Jeff Pope (Philomena).

In addition, adding to the already vast and prestigious Agatha Christie collection, three new films based on the mystery writer’s tales will be added to the service: Agatha Christie’s Why Didn’t They Ask Evans, Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials Mystery, and Agatha Christie’s Secret Adversary.

Yes, Minister

Written by Anthony Jay and Jonathan Lynn, this political satire tells the story of James Hacker, the newly-appointed Cabinet Minister for Administrative Affairs. Despite opposition from the British Civil Service, including his Permanent Secretary, Sir Humphrey Appleby, Hacker sets out to formulate and implement policy based on his ideas for reform.

Yes, Prime Minister 

The original writers of Yes, Minister reunite to continue the story of James Hacker, as he is now Prime Minister and Sir Humphrey Appleby is Cabinet Secretary. In this sequel, Hacker continues to find his every move challenged by the British Civil Service, and his first term is marked with everything from defense policy to a spy scandal.
