For his role as Elton John in the Rocketman biopic, he won his first Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. He is currently receiving praise for his most recent role as Jimmy Keene in Apple TV+’s crime drama miniseries Black Bird.
