The Bad Moms Cast on Making Good Comedies

Be sure to watch ComingSoon.net's exclusive interviews with the Bad Moms cast for a look at the R-rated comedy set to hit the big screen this weekend.

Sit down with the Bad Moms cast as Mila Kunis and her co-stars talk about what it takes to make good comedies

This Friday, STX Entertainment releases an R-rated ensemble comedy from the writing and director pair of Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (best known for scripting Todd Phillips’ The Hangover). The Bad Moms cast includes Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Christina Applegate and Annie Mumolo, all of whom sat down with ComingSoon.net for a discussion about what goes into a comedy project like this and why getting the perfect balance of humor and realism can be harder than it looks.

“I’ve done so many movies where I think ‘this is going to be grounded,'” Kunis admits, “and then you see it and you’re like, ‘This is a piece of s–t.'”

In Bad Moms, Amy (Kunis) has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence – putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn (Applegate) and her clique of devoted perfect moms.

Written and directed by Jon Lucas & Scott Moore (The Hangover, 21 and Over), the Bad Moms cast also includes Jada Pinkett Smith and Jay Hernandez. Look for it in theaters this Friday, July 29.
