His Dark Materials, Series Premiere: Starring Dafne Keen, Lin Manuel-Miranda, James McAvoy, Ruth Wilson, and more, the first season follows Lyra (Dafne Keen), a seemingly ordinary but brave young woman from another world. Lyra’s search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. As she journeys through the worlds, including our own, Lyra meets a determined and courageous boy called Will. Together they encounter extraordinary beings and dangerous secrets, with the fate of both the living — and the dead — in their hands. The series debut is available to stream on HBO Now and HBO Go.

The End of the F***ing World, Season 2 Premiere: The second season of Netflix’s crime comedy will finally give audiences answers following a massive Season 1 cliffhanger, updating fans on the current status of teen outsiders James (Alex Lawther) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden), after the pair found themselves caught up in events that lead them down a menacing and surreal path. The first season is now streaming on Netflix, and the second season will debut on Tuesday, November 5.

Shameless, Season 10 Premiere: The tenth season picks up six months after last season’s finale. Frank uses his leg injury to collect as many prescription drugs as possible, and his exploits lead him to an old friend. Emboldened by the $50,000 left to her by Fiona, Debbie has stepped in as the family’s new matriarch, ruling over the Gallagher household with an iron fist. Lip navigates his relationship with a newly affectionate Tami, while Carl has to decide what to do with his life as he finishes military school and heads back to the South Side. Liam is committed to learning more about black history and culture under the tutelage of V, as Kev faces an identity crisis. Gallavich returns this season as Ian and Mickey rekindle their romance in prison as both cellmates and lovers. The new season will premiere on Sunday, November 10, and will be available to stream on the network’s site.

Rick and Morty, Season 4 Premiere: Featuring all-star guest voices including Taika Waititi, Sam Neill, Paul Giamatti, and Kathleen Turner, Adult Swim’s hit animated series is finally returning on Sunday, November 10! The series creators have stated that there will be a serialized element to every episode of Season 4, with each featuring a strong story that stands on its own as well. Five episodes will release every Sunday night for the new season, with episodes available to stream on AdultSwim.com. Previous seasons are also available to stream on Hulu.
Renewals
Creepshow, Season 2: Greg Nicotero’s horror anthology series based on Stephen King and George A. Romero’s classic has been renewed for a second season by Shudder! The first season, featuring stars such as Adrienne Barbeau, Giancarlo Espositio, Tobin Bell, Tricia Helfer, David Arquette, Dana Gould, Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Davison, and DJ Qualls, is available to stream on the subscription platform.
Pennyworth, Season 2: Epix has renewed its Batman prequel series for a 10-episode second season! Starring Jack Bannon as the young Alfred Pennyworth, the series is expected to return in 2020 with filming scheduled to begin sometime next year. The first season is available to stream on Epix.
