The Adventures of Tintin video game in development!

Video game publisher has announced that to celebrate its 35th anniversary it is developing a game based on the iconic French comic book series The Adventures of Tintin focused on the iconic adventurer and reporter, according to VitalThrills.

The game, which is being developed by Microids and Moulinsart, is being created for both consoles and PC and will be an action-adventure game transporting players into a whirlwind of suspenseful situations as Tintin and his lovable dog Snowy, with other iconic characters joining including Captain Haddock, genius Professor Calculus and brilliant detectives Thomson & Thompson.

The developer has also worked on licensed titles including Asterix & ObelixTiteufGarfield and Blacksad.

The series of video games based on the Adventures of Tintin comics go as far back as 1989 with the release of side scroller Tintin on the Moon, followed by 1995’s Tintin in Tibet and 1996’s Prisoners of the Sun, and was last adapted into a game with 2011’s The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, developed as a tie-in to the Steven Spielberg film of the same year.
